WaterSound Beach Club

Santa Rosa Beach, Florida
Edited Aerial.jpg

The growing new urbanist community of WaterSound needed to expand its existing beach club facilities along the Gulf of Mexico. A second beach amenity area is being added on a site contiguous to the existing club, using the same New England shingle style design aesthetic. The new facilities will essentially double the space available for club members and their guests to enjoy the club’s amenities and beach location.

The new beach club will feature a free-form, zero entry pool with a lazy river, a 2,225 SF clubhouse with a grille and restrooms on the pool level, a small pool bathhouse, fire pits, cabanas, and a band stage and amphitheater lawn. Construction is being phased, with the pool, pool deck and pool bath house being completed in the first phase, with the clubhouse following soon thereafter.

A new arrival experience, highlighted by a trellised tower element, as well as additional parking for both cars and golf carts, will also enhance the visitors’ experience.
