Designed to be a multi-phased development comprising1.75 million square feet spanning forty acres, Biltmore Park Town Square serves as a blueprint for creating a livable community that is pedestrian-friendly, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. This vibrant town center re-imagines the Main Streets of the past and creates a forward-thinking community based on smart growth, green living, and reduced dependence on the automobile. The design is driven by the eclectic mix of downtown Asheville’s architectural styles.

The project encompasses 29 buildings housing retail, office, entertainment, and residential units. In addition, the town center contains a Barnes & Noble, state-of-the-art YMCA, Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium 15 screen movie theater, and the luxurious Hilton Asheville. Biltmore Park Town Square is part of the USGBC’s LEED for Neighborhood Development pilot program.

Serving as the architect of record resulted in three 4-story retail buildings with residential units above, a 3-story 73,000 square foot office over the retail building, four parking decks for 1,882 vehicles, two condominium buildings, three townhome buildings, another 4-story apartment building and a 2-story 28,000 square foot REI outdoor store.
